At Arrowsmith Piano, we believe in providing our students with regular opportunities to showcase their talents and progress. That's why we're proud to present our National Capital Monthly Student Online Recitals, held on the first Sunday of each month at 4pm.

Why Participate in Our Online Recitals?

Our online recitals offer a unique platform for students to:

  • Build confidence and overcome stage fright

  • Experience a sense of achievement

  • Learn from peers and gain inspiration

  • Perform for family and friends, regardless of location

  • Develop self-sufficiency and technical skills

How It Works

  1. Students submit their application and $10 fee to janearrowsmith17@gmail.com at least 7 days before the recital date.

  2. Each student performs one piece, with or without sheet music.

  3. On the Saturday evening before the recital, participants receive the program and Google Meet link.

  4. The recital is held via Google Meet, lasting a maximum of 1.5 hours.

Technical Setup

We use Google Meet for a seamless online experience. Students should:

  • Ensure their participant name matches the program

  • Turn off noise cancellation in Google Meet settings

  • Set the layout to "Spotlight"

  • Have a reliable internet connection (minimum 4Mbps up/down)
