Lessons & Policy

New students are welcome to begin anytime.

The length of lessons are:

• 30 minutes

• 45 minutes

• 60 minutes

Class length is dependent on the level and requirements of the student. More time is required as a student advances through their studies. Written requirements for the piano/singing levels will add additional time or a separate scheduled lesson.

Lessons are recommended once a week to ensure regular progress. Piano/singing lessons include pieces, sight reading, ear training technique, and theory. Summer lessons are recommended for all students at senior levels and those wishing to take Summer (August) exams. All students are welcome to register for summer lessons.

The rescheduling of lessons is only permitted by the teacher. Missed lessons will not be rescheduled.

All lessons are tailored to the student as everyone assimilates information differently. It is very important to have a good relationship with every student, be supportive and understand how to deliver new concepts in the easiest and most efficient, fun manner for each individual.

Goals are individualized to each student. There are many method books for students not wishing to pursue the conservatory study.
